Many folk downloaded this game? Having been a big fan of the original NES Bionic Commando, loving the original Rearmed Remake and uh.. having tried my best to love the PS3/360 effort, I picked up Rearmed 2 day one. I am enjoying a lot about it - tons of fun to swing around with the new controls, even though they took a lot of getting used to. Unfortunately, I'm rather inclined to agree with the review up on Giantbomb: http://www.giantbomb.com/bionic-commando-rearmed-2/61-30945/reviews/ The level design just seems a little confusing and clumsy. Real shame, but not a total game breaker. Ah well, the gameplay may not be all I hoped and dreamed for, but Nathan Spencer's glorious moustache sure is... http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2010/06/mr-spencer.jpg This reminds me to search for any grapple hook heavy tributes to Bionic Commando in LBP... I love Bionic Commando!!! I played the original, the remake, Rearmed 2 and the 3D game! Most of all I love the 3D game because the realistic swing in 3D is just the most awesome thing ever! Got the platinum trophy and most of the Rearmed trophies because I couldn't get enough! I even got all the BC trophies again for a friend because I couldn't stop playing after I got 100%! xDDD I even was one of the best 30 players in the multiplayer! I hope so much for Bionic Commando 2 to come with more freedom, no radioactive fog and a better multiplayer (it was fun playing it online but the multiplayer just sucked!)! I like the new Rearmed a lot. I didn't know what to think about his mustage first but somehow it's cool. I also like the new abilities like the jump and death from above. I always thought that with a jump it would be much better since humans just can jump even if the point of the original was the swing instead of jumping like in all the other games back then. I also think that the level design improved because it's less linear and you have to search more. I don't understand why people always have to complain because games need to evolve and everything they added just makes it better. I agree that the controls are not that good though but I didn't like them that much in Rearmed 1 eighter. Pressing down to get higher while in the air and moving the stick diagonaly to shoot the claw straight ahead while standing is just confusing. That you don't have to hold circle button for grappling is also not so good. The bosses are a bit too easy to beat aswell. The rest is great though.
