I am trying to make a mech, I watched the walking leg tutorial and I am having an issue, I have the legs working fine, A circle with 2 legs bolted to it and a basic (for now) mover attached to it. Where I run into problems is when I try and make the hologram follow it , the hologram is supposed (as far as I understand) to float above the leg contraption and follow it this enables you to place the cockpit on top of the hologram so that the cockpit follows the legs around. When I put the hologram about the legs then set a follower on it and a gyroscope, then set it to follow a tag. When I hit play it goes straight to the the tag and follows it around as the main wheel turns. Can I get some help on this?

The hologram is spinning with the wheel, I want it to just hover above it so that I can attach the cockpit without it spinning with the wheel (ultimately destroying it). Sorry if I was unclear on this.

How about putting a gyroscope on the holo circle, plus an Antigravity tweaker. Tweak the gyro to whatever causes it not to spin anymore.

I just figured it out you have to turn off up and down movement on the follower. Nice!

There is an excellent Walking Legs tutorial by the same name in the Tutorials forum. That one may be of help. It seems to be so popular that I see it bounced to the top almost every day.
