Sackbot Boss Battle Help

I am trying to make a game similar to Megaman. A platform shooter where you go through the entire level and at the end is a room with boss battle. The problem is, I don't know how to coordinate a boss battle. The boss will be a Sackbot who can shoot energy beams, jump high, sprint, etc. Can someone go step by step how to set up this boss fight including logic? First, but a controlinator on the boss' microchip, don't have it on remote control, then put your boss' abilities on the controlinator's microchip, such as emmiters for lasers, anti-gravity for high jump, etc. Then record your boss's behavior. While recording, the boss will act as if you had it on remote control, so it will shoot lasers when the cooresponding button is pushed. You could make him just jump around the arena shooting lasers. To make him smarter, you can add more behaviors that are triggered when certain criteria are met. For example, you could record a behavior for a melee attack and set it to be triggered when you get close. Or you could set up a recording of a "crazy mode" when he gets low on health. Joey, dude, thank you. I will surely be trying this out tonight. I have been trying for days to record the bosses actions, but when I hit record, he acts like sackboy. So, I can't perform any of the logic I installed on countless microchips. You pointed out one thing. Don't put it on remote control. I've been trying to record him while the sack boy is inside a transmitting controllinator and the sackbot(boss) has a receiving controllinator. I guess it makes sense now why it wasnt working. Thanks a lot.
