Railgun Hover Tank Test Course

This isn't very much of a level, it just shows the basic abilities of my newest vehicle: the Hover-Tank. My ground-restricted hover system is fairly complex and I'm still working on improving it, so if something goes wrong please let me know (sorry, but I won't be showing off my system until it is nearly flawless ) The tank also has a secondary fire, which involves the barrel splitting in two and shooting a lot of plasma, which temporarily disables all its other functions when fired (to simulate energy drain). Any suggestions on modifications or changes to my tank will be considered (although I'm currently making a more visually-appealing version right now)

I really liked the hovertank idea, definitely new territory. It was mostly very good. When going uphill the missiles hit you in the head and when I was near the floating guys you had to kill with the missiles the tank flipped over. No other issues for me.2011-02-09 03:57:00

Thanks for the feedback, I've been trying to fix the missiles, but they glitch unpredictably, and I'll get on the flipping-over problem the next time I'm on LBP2. You can tell me which levels of yours you would like me to give some feedback on in return2011-02-10 01:00:00

Just played it, the tank moves very smoothly and the attacks look cool.
The only thing I'd change is maybe make a visible indicator that shows when your raligun is recharged and turn off physics sounds on the bottom parts of the tank. You do run into hills occasionally when going fast and hearing the clanging of the metal can take away from some of the experience.
Still, very well-made!

I played this last week sometime I think, nice concept and it seems to function as it should.
Glad to hear you've updated the appearance of the tank a bit, I'll give it another look.
And also looking forward to see you implement this in a level.

I think when I played it the boss was undefeatable at the time. queued

wow, thanks for the youtube video! as for that thin layer on the missile launcher, sorry i never noticed cuz i had a friend visually modify it & i just dropped it in, but my recent update takes care of that problem. about the boss, it can only be killed by the railcannon & its missiles can be intercepted by your own (sorry 4 the misunderstanding) my latest update also has a camo version of the tank, and its hover system is nearly perfected. i will also be adding a prize bubble containing my tank, in a future update if it's not too much to ask, could u make a youtube video of the latest update plz? if it's too much, then could u just put a comment on the video saying that the problems have been fixed plz? thanks again!2011-02-21 22:42:00

Level now has Hover-Tank prize! Enjoy!

Newest Update: I have created a new hover-tank with multiplayer capability (up to 4 players)! It is superior over the first hover-tank in every way, including performance, weapons, & visuals, & I will be creating a thorough level to demonstrate every feature of it. I will add a level link to this level when it is complete
