Photos of this level can be found at the link above, enjoy!

Hey, my new level Bounce Pad level 1, it's the first of 3 levels i will be making of this series.

You begin at the bottom of a old wooden tower made purely of decorative wood and padded materials that set the bouncing theme. You climb to the top by bouncing, puzzle solving, grappling and hopping your way to that ultimate goal, the scoreboard. Along the way you collect items and prize bubbles which contain items throughout the level, and also images that show the development of the making of the level, which i thought was a nice idea since i havn't seen it done before. There is one, two player puzzle which awards the players with four prize bubbles which contains items to collect throughout this twisted tower.

Recommended players is two, just to get the prize bubbles. Otherwise, or after, i recommend just the one player for a fast and smooth time throughout this race.

Please try this level and rate, heart, comment honestly with suggestions for either my new level of the series or for improvements. If you want me to try your levels, send me a message on the PS3, not here. My PSN name is RacingCreed.

Send me a message with the names of the levels you wish for me to review and i will reply the same day, thanks and enhjoy!

+ I like the consistent art.
* I liked that there was a 2X section
- All the bounces were on a small scale. Bigger bounces

Just played it....
It was fun, i liked the details and the decoration.
I don't know why you need an "intro" for a level like that.
And i find it a bit short but you said you're going to make more episodes so it's okay...

Yeah, i've started making a second design for this bounce tower fun ^^

I'm glad you liked my level, i put alot of effort in to making this level, almost a month of constant work. For the second level, i won't say much except it will be even more fun than the first with even more tower climbing fun ^^

Please tell your friends about this level, it's much appreciated ^^

It has a nice looking consistent theme all the way through. I think the challenge was good and you had some clever traps that forced me to pay closer attention after I got bounced backwards of into plasma the first few times. I particularly liked the area where there are two bounce pads moving horizontally that must be avoided in order to not get killed. I only have a few suggestions. First, I think that the intro should be skip-able since you want to encourage people to play more than once to get a high score. It doesn't help that I am hopelessly jamming x every time I want to retry especially if I intend to go for the high score and plan on restarting with every mistake. Next, I think you should edit the description to works well with two players instead of recommended for two players. The level is perfectly enjoyable alone and you wouldn't want to discourage anyone from playing it. Also, since you mentioned that you are going to make more like this, I would like to see more grappling hook areas in future levels. I think it is the best new power up and has a lot of potential for levels like this. What you had there was good, but I would like to see the sections longer and more prominent in the level. Overall, it was a very fun and enjoyable level so good job and thank you for providing feedback on my level.2011-02-09 18:35:00

Hey, I played your level and thought it was a nice action platformer. Kinda reminds me of the unfair platformer.
I have a suggestion.
Suggestion:
- don't force the player to looks at the opening intro. It's a neat intro but when you replay a level many times it can get annoying. Believe me, people are gonna replay this

I like the level. Lots of love, blizzard! <3

I played your level, and it was pretty decent. The aesthetics were nice, but the gameplay was repetitive and somewhat unoriginal. Don't get me wrong, it was fun at first, and not terrible or anything, but it could use a little more than just being thrown around with bounce pads. Also, the intro needs some work. Relying on a barely noticeable sponge to be grabbed to initiate the opening sequence is poor design. I would recommend a battery or player sensor to activate it automatically. This would also eliminate the need for the unsightly stickered wall at the start.

Overall not a terrible level, but it suffers from bland, unoriginal concepts, and has the potential to be much better.

Thanks everyone for feedback!

I have read many times about the opening title, and you have all requested to be able to skip it.
I'm glad to inform you that I will re edit that this second, so you can skip it.

For those who i have not yet played the level, i have queued them along side at least another 30, so please be patient and i will review each and all within the next 24 hours.

Thanks again for your feedback, and yes, in my future levels there will be more grappling hook activites.

Thanks for the feedback of "Cybernetic Adventures Alpha". This level has some great use of bouncing pads.

VISUALS:
The material choices are actually good. It is also neatly polished. Try adding a few more corner edits.

SOUND:
Good music choice.

GAMEPLAY:
The bouncing pad obstacles are great in this level. The level has some great usage of the grappling hook as well.

OVERALL:
A very fun level with some unique platforming and challenging twist. A yeah vote, a heart, and a positive review.

Pros: Very well put together. No confusion, no muddled direction. I can see you are a big fan of directional arrows. I can tell you put some thought into each little section. There were clever spots where I had to stop for a second and think before acting off the cuff. I'm not a big fan of creator prizes but having them available was a nice touch that gave it a very LBP story mode feel.

Cons: The title movie probably isn't needed but you have already addressed that. I can appreciate the desire to make one but now playing through a mandatory one makes me realize that some times they hinder repeated game play of the level for a better score.

Conclusion: I'm not a real big fan of race levels or short bouncy areas but I can really see and compliment you on the obvious time it took to make this level run smoothly, especially with a couple of semi-complicated rotating/changing bounce areas. Good Job!

P.S. I sent you a response to your review of my lvl. I was hoping you could help me with a little more feed back.

I played this earlier, as I had promised. It was entertaining, and it was much like a challenge+ version of the Tower of Whoop (I believe a review on the game said the same)
I also think it was a bit lacking in originality. While it looked and played wonderfully, the player really doesn't do anything new at all. I know that's getting harder and harder to do, but y'know. It's worth a play to anyone who hasn't yet, and I look forward to the next two parts

ARGH!!

*bounce bounce bounce bounce* *plasma death*
Hahaha, not this time!
*bounce bounce bounce bounce* *dodge plasma* ... *bounce* *plasma death*

NARGH!

I really enjoyed this level. The frustrating part is somehow entertaining. I always had to laugh when I made the same mistake over and over again.
"Jump over that... now there! Yes I made it! Finally!"
*runs to checkpoint* *bounce* *plasmaaa*
"NOOOOOOOO!"

I always ran on the bounce pads on the floor. Really funny!
I liked the visuals and the whole design. Well, maybe I would prefer it a bit brighter. It's a bit dark if you ask me.

But that's the only thing to suggest.
So I gave it a 'Yay' for rude bouncing pads.

I think RedShadow_88 sums it up well with

*bounce bounce bounce bounce* *plasma death*
Hahaha, not this time!
*bounce bounce bounce bounce* *dodge plasma* ... *bounce* *plasma death*

The level is pretty fun, with just enough frustration. Several times I would find myself doing something dumb, accidental, or just not realize the repercussions of my actions - I'd go back to the spot to determine to do it differently and somehow I would manage the exact same death. This is not a fault of the level, but is part of my enjoyment of the level. I enjoy being challenged - or mocked depending on the case - and found myself really enjoy figuring out where to bounce next.

The visuals aren't really spectacular, but there is a certain challenge in dressing up a couple thousand bounce pads (which for whatever reason can't be stickered or color selected *boo*) ... so RacingCreed really does well considering the medium he has to work with.

Anyway, I enjoyed it and will be back for more. Also - while recommended for two player, I played this solo and had a bounce of a good time.

What I liked:
- The level was beautifully consistent. It felt very professional and like you had a vision in mind.
- The obstacles are clever and well orchestrated. It seems like you put a lot of effort into tuning them.
- By making it a race you added a sense of urgency that really helped the frenetic tone of the level.
- As others have said, it reminded me a lot of a deadlier version of Tower of Whoop, which I loved.
- The grappling hook placement was a great way to telegraph how to progress. Even if I couldn't see grabbable material, I was able to progress because of how the level was communicating.

What I didn't like:
- The title screen seemed a bit superfluous, especially since you've already started playing by the time you activate it. It seems like a hold up.
- The title of the level is incredibly generic. That's probably what you were going for, but it's not going to grab attention from people who look for quality levels. That's a shame because this really is a quality level.

Conclusion:
This is one of the more fun bounce pad levels I've played. I'm normally very wary of them because they can be so cheaply put together, but it's clear that in this instance that is not the case. I had a lot of fun playing it, and I would say you completely succeeded in what you aspired to do.

Hi RacingCreed,

Had great fun on your level. For what it is meant to be, a race with some challenge to it, it does very well and you have obviously put some serious time into it.

Please play and review my level:-

Returning the F4F from my Dizzy Wheel Survival Challenge (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=47967-Dizzy-Wheel-Survival-Challenge-(MAJOR-CHANGES-2-13)) level and I have to say, this level is really fun. I went thru it single player and it is still enjoyable.

I will say that at the beginning you can skip that whole grabbing the sponge to see the title bit and just make it a player sensor: ALL.

I like that you picked a color theme and rolled with it. It gives the whole place a real professional look. The camera angles were nice and the obstacles were differentiated but similar enough that you could figure out what you had to do without dying (if you paid attention).
