I am currently working on a platformer/puzzler that takes place in a factory. I can not figure out what a good material combo, I've tried Getto Metal and Getto Skin from the MGS pack, but that doesn't have a factory fill, in my opinion. Any help? Thanks for any ideas.

If you have LBP1, try some of the metals out of the Metropolis and the Wilderness. Also, the Brushed Steel, Crumpled Concrete and Tyre Track materials from LBP2 work nicely. Try using cog objects and some of the Factory of a Better Tomorrow objects too, like the metal support thing and the exhaust pipe. Also, remember you can sort stuff by theme in the popit if that helps you find suitable things better.

If you can find a brick textured material, combine it with concrete, rusty irons, steel (not chrome) beams, boilerplate metal, chainlink fence for a contemporary or industrial feel. If you want to go into a scifi direction, glasses, smooth iron surfaces, chrome, the mgs materials and some letters and yellow/black striped alert stickering can get you in the mood. Search google images for "factory", "industry", etcetera and see if you like anything in particular.
