Settting waypoints for a vechile??

Wow.... LBP2 is hard to understand....

Sorry for asking again and again in these forums.... but is there a way I can make my vehicle (floating spaceship) follow a certain waypoint??

I want my vechile to go straight then up, then do like a circle thing and then go to this another area.... but the only way I can think of doing this is by tweaking the mover with tags.... which is going to be a awful pain...

I was wondering if it was possible to maybe use the sackbots acting abilities to control the vehicle the way I want....

What I would do would be to make a hologram with tag on it and make the ship follow that tag now when it gets to the tag it disappears and emits the next tag in another location.2011-02-08 21:25:00

i use a system to do this in the level i am working on. you can wire up a tag so that it is only active when you want it to be. make a series of tags connected to a selector with a timer set to cycle it or a sequencer or something like that to get the timing how you want it. set your vehicle to follow the tag. each time the next tag is activated the vehicle will move to that position (as long as it is within the followers range.) now you will want to tweak the speed and strength of the follower to ensure a smooth flight, and you might need to disable the follower during normal travel periods if you plan on having those. also you will probably want a gyro in there.2011-02-08 23:34:00
