I'm thinking of getting one, i want one that looks cool, and will blast someone if they break in, i don't know anything about guns, suggestions?

i don't know anything about guns, suggestions? Don't get a Gun. If you want a Gun because it's cool, and you're 'afraid of robbers' (Call of Duty persuaded you) don't get one. You'll end up shooting your own eye out. Leave the Gun owning to the rednecks and cops.

Ahh i don't like FPS' much, but that desert eagle is nice, expensive though.. and yes i'm getting one.

ok - first off, research on sites that have people who know what they are talking about when it comes to personal defense and gun ownership. Look, I think a .50 Desert Eagle is about as cool as it gets (impractical for home defense but great in the movies) but it's an E for everyone site and as a gun owner (don't ask) I'd really rather have you talking to people who take this stuff seriously and not people who are going to talk about what's cool and post pics of insane guns no human should own. I'm locking this for it's own good.
