Virus

Archive: 5 posts

Hi!

I was home for the weekend and put this together in 12 hours... straight -__-

It's published under a different PSN. (ShuttleBoard)

A very simple concept: Stay alive for as long as possible and shoot the virus to stop it spreading!

If I have more time I will definitely develop the concept somewhat, but for now its very basic.

This is not F4F because I am at uni until Easter! Hope you guys enjoy it!

Just played a few rounds of this, very fun. I like that it is very simple and streamlined and I especially like the sort of frantic -almost paranoid- feeling the level instills as those red blocks start to spread and close in. If i have any suggestions they would be to simply add a bit more visual flair, maybe something in the void of black surrounding the square and the cannon too. Either way I think it's great, nice work!2011-02-07 20:04:00

Oh, you built that? I've left a review there on the level, I loved the idea and gameplay; but like OCK and I have suggested, a bit more visual flair never hurts. 2011-02-11 07:49:00

I played this, it was great, and weird how it turned from very easy to really frantic all of a sudden. Very nice.2011-02-11 07:54:00

Thanks guys! It's good that people seem to enjoy the concept.

This new PSN ID is really only to test concepts for a something much much bigger....

Yeah I knida felt the same with the visual side of things... I like the colour change of the blocks and the fact that you can see the virus spreading, but it defo needs some more polish on the robots. On top of that, I felt that the menu selection was probs better than the actual game! lol
