Hi everyone! Im back and now on LBP2! This level/series will replace my LBP series of Mason's Temple. The features in LBP2 allow me to do alot more, including voices. As I published it at silly hours last night, it has slipped off the *New* list This one is just the beginning, the second part (if I get enough playthroughs ) will feature more challenges and a longer playtime. Story: You are a new member of a team of archaeologists, digging down to the suspected entrance site of Mason's Temple. There is now a Versus level published. It is for 1 to 4 players i.e. you can solo it. The general idea is to shoot the blobs of goo to score points. Red goo will kill you on contact so be sure to take that out fast. Golden goo is worth 100 points.

I have to say, I found the level quite amusing. The cinematics were good ... but the highlight was Wilson. The humor was right up my alley, so I definately appreciated the tone. Obviously (I think obviously) the biggest downside is the length. The level seems like it could house so much more and continue with its quirky humor. Gave it a smiley face.

Hi Jaydetiger, Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed my level. I agree it could be longer, and the next one certainly will be. I need to figure out what I did wrong construction wise. The level's size ended up being limited by the thermometer. Its probably something to do with the voices or overconstruction in places. More to come though, this may be a spoiler but ALL the characters are recurring At the moment I am rebuilding the versus level as there are currently some issue with it, the new version is about 10 times better. Should be ready soon.

Pros The level has a good theme with a story like approach. It has taken advantage of the voices in the magic mouth to create some funny voices which has a good sense of humour to the level. The level contains some good tasks, but all are easy. Cons The level is quite short, and is mostly walking from start to end. More attention to detail in the scenery and smoothness of game play would help boost the views on this level. Overall A good level with a story like atmosphere. It contains some good humour which may make the player laugh and motivate them to continue. All the bots are programmed with player made voices which adds a extra feature to the level. Hi RacingCreed, I played your level yesterday, thought it was brilliant. I posted on your thread. I shall try and increase the difficulty in the next one. My previous LBP1 levels were criticised for being too difficult. I have finished rebuilding my Versus level now so I can start looking at this level and figuring out what was causing the thermometer issues. That was the limiting factory in the end. I have yet to decide if I should rebuild parts of this level or start on the next bit of the story but it depends on what the size limiting factor was. And the success of this one too. So far it has been well received so things are looking good.
