flying tool
Archive: 8 posts
have you ever seen the bee from story mode and wondered how does it fly, well it takes a very long time of putting stuff on the microchip and even then is hard to use. I think there should be a tool that lets an object fly while still maintaining good control | 2011-02-07 05:53:00 Author: Fuzzynoodle Posts: 7 |
That sort of takes the whole point of the game away. It's Play, CREATE, Share not Play, HAVE US BUILD STUFF FOR YOU, Share. Sorry if that sounded mean. It wasn't meant to. You just have to keep at the creating thing. Making something fly really isn't that hard at all. Study the microchip of the bee that you are talking about and then try to recreate that over and over until you don't have to even look at the other microchip and still be able to recreate it. | 2011-02-07 06:25:00 Author: DarKnighT_0_9 Posts: 91 |
uhm, have you heard of the mover and the gravity switch? | 2011-02-07 06:31:00 Author: Jonaolst Posts: 935 |
It's not even a bit hard. You get a controllinator, hook up an advanced mover to the controls you want to move with and hey presto, the object flies. Change acceleration and deccelaration(?) to around 100% for good control. | 2011-02-07 06:52:00 Author: Retro Posts: 104 |
IKR! I've been begging MM for a "build a whole dam level" switch for years. | 2011-02-07 08:03:00 Author: comishguy67 Posts: 849 |
There's a neat toutorial on YouTube on how to make a basic flying UFO in around 5 minutes. Of course, if you don't want to do much work at all, you can just copy the controllinator and necessary microchips from the Bee to the object you want to make fly. But that's not as fun. | 2011-02-07 16:24:00 Author: EliminatorZigma Posts: 173 |
Didn't Mm create the Bee with the same tools we're all using? | 2011-02-07 22:42:00 Author: ccapel Posts: 100 |
Didn't Mm create the Bee with the same tools we're all using? Yep. In fact, we have access to everything that MM did to make these levels except for pink text and the end credits. | 2011-02-07 23:25:00 Author: EliminatorZigma Posts: 173 |
