Bubbles explode on impact

So I'm making a side scrolling tower defense level, and you control a sackbot. The enemies drop bubbles when they die. Problem is, once I enter the sackbot, all of the bubbles that fall on the ground explode on contact. Why would this happen? | 2011-02-07 03:38:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |

Exploding is an available option for the destruction of an emitted object. You probably want to go into the settings and set the lifespan of the bubbles to infinite, or simple change the destruction animation. Additionally, as I understand it, sackbots can't collect bubbles, so instead you should try using a score giver. | 2011-02-07 07:07:00 Author: Lokno Posts: 68 |
What I'm saying is: The enemies drop score bubbles when destroyed. They fall to the ground and stay there when I am not in the sackbot. When I enter the sackbot, suddenly any bubble that touches any surface explodes and gives points. I'm asking why that would happen. Why would entering a sackbot make every single point bubble in a level explode? All I have on the sackbot is a controlinator. That's it. | 2011-02-09 01:52:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |
You could just use a score giver to give you points when you destroy the enemies. I don't know why the bubbles explode though, I geuss you can't pick up bubbles in a controlinator. | 2011-02-09 02:04:00 Author: Joey9898 Posts: 131 |
I wanted it to be so that when the enemies died, the sackbot had to go over to pick up the points. I don't want them to have the points instantly. But I guess I will have to make a workaround. | 2011-02-09 02:05:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |
