Alrighty... I'm making a level where it gives the illusion of 3D, but it all basically is on the back two planes. I've made an enemy(looks kind of like a TIE Fighter from StarWars.), and it has 50 'frames' so it looks like it gets closer, and I've used a sequencer and a whole lotta batteries to play the frames. I'm using Hologram material in a shape kind of like a tall parallelogram with a tag on it labeled 'weapon' for my 'lasers'. I'm trying to find a way to have it where when the ship is in frame 1(smallest), it will only detect the laser in that small area, but as the ship gets 'larger', so does the radius of detection. Any help is much appreciated. If you don't understand something, I'll try to explain further. sounds like the simplest thing is to use a labeled tag on the larger layers to (im guessing hit it) detect the laser but not on the smallest. Id have tos ee what you are trying to do to be totaly sure though. | 2011-02-06 21:18:00 Author: OutcastZeroOne Posts: 139 |
