I thought I just start a new topic about Killzone in general because I want to talk about more than just the multiplayer. I'm more interested in things like story and characters. Right now I'm arguing with someone on youtube why the Helghast are the good guys. God that's so exhausting! >_< What do you guys think and why?

I suppose they really didn't do much wrong as the ISA made the first move, so you're sorta right. There's no right and wrong really. We are invading them in Killzone 2 afterall anyway. In retaliation albeit, but that's cause they were also retaliating lol. End of the day though, the Helghast are the bad guys due to the way they represent themselves, mainly the large amount of nazi symbology going on which is enough to make anyone think 'bad guys'. I'm looking forward to seeing the result of the ISA stuck on Helghan in KZ3, but I'm dissapointed to read it's apparantly a very weak story, dotting around from place to place. Gameplay and pace is bang on though, which is more important really.

Hmm I think the whole Helghast look should make us believe they are the bad guys on purpose though more things speak against that. I mean after all the ISA took Vekta from them by force and anyone would try to get their home back. After what the ISA did I also understand why they became so cruel. They were weak when the ISA invaded Vekta and they had to flee to another planet which killed half their nation. After such a thing you don't want to show any weakness. I can not really believe that the story is that bad. The story trailer looked very interesting and Jorhan Stahl seems to be a good replacement for Visari. We should still remember that after all it's an FPS and those games rarely have complex stories. Common is there only one person interested in more than just the mulitplayer? What do you guys think of Jorhan Stahl and Admiral Orlock? Which one do you prefer and who should be the new Helghast leader (no spoilers please in case you already know)?
