Queued it. I will play it within the next two hours. Feedback will come soon.

Edit:
Played it...

Pos: nice intro
detailed
fun 2 play
Neg: camera movement isn't very good and you see some things to late.
black background is a too dark contrast. I would make it a bit brighter.
the ride with the grapplehook was a bit too long

I gave your level an pos

Positives

*Visually unique, for sure It's what I can only imagine a drug trip to be like, seriously weird, but that made it awesome.

*Your music fitted really well into it, and was well put together.

* Nice obstacle variation and the level wan't to long or too short.

Negatives

*The ladybird ride was a little long and slow at the beginning.

* Sometimes what though was background holograms turned out to be foreground and electrocuted me, perhaps it could be a tad more clear?

Overall
The level was unique, fun to play, had a fitting piece of original music and felt right, I really look forward to the next part!

This had a very original feel and style. It was certainly interesting visually.

Some areas were surprisingly difficult. Not that it is a bad thing, but the tempo and play comes across very slow and sleepy, but if you catch yourself not paying attention it'll get ya.

The bug ride was very interesting. At first it just seemed like a slow motion romp through a field of point balls. It may be a tad too long before it hits something interesting. I was just thinking to myself - "hrmmm there should be danger on this ride ... " be careful what you wish for. The thought sprang to my mind half a moment before I found myself being electrocuted. *false sense of security* ....

One area that was a wee bit rough was the flower drop. I tried that thing ... I don't even know how many times. I could not cut left from the right gap fast enough no matter what I did. In the end I had to cheat ... sorry. I used the jelly wall to stick a flower then died and utilized two flowers on my decent to navigate the electrocution field. It worked - but I felt I had to be missing something int he proper way to clear that second gap.

Anyway, it was enjoyable and I gave it the smiley ...

Please take a moment and check out my F4F level. The details can be found in my sig. Thanks!

Did you play with other players? I can't believe that its impossible... you're the first one to report this.
But I'll check it out!
Thanks for the feedback!

No - I played it solo (being 30something and having to walk away at a moments notice for a screaming baby, wife, or kids means I don't get much multi-player action in )

I'm not saying it is impossible, I just couldn't do it. I always grabbed the left side of the flower. I tried swinging through as rapid as possible, drifting gently, and even starting far right and heading backwards; but that doesn't mean it's impossible. In fact, since nobody else reported an issue it is probably something I wasn't getting or an obvious method that I didn't try.

Very nice cinematic at the start of the level. It was psychadelic level thats for sure. I liked the random animal sounds but I thought maybe there could be so crazy visuals to those sounds like pieces of dreams flying around. Over all nice level. I look forward to the next part.

F4F: The Level in my Signature.

This level was really well constructed. I felt as though it had a really unique visual style that made it stand out. The platforming was quite challenging, which may be a turn off for more casual players but was right up my ally. I will echo some of the other reviews in saying that the ladybug ride section was a little long, and some of the camera work didn't give you quite enough time to prepare for challenges. Other then that, well done. You got a out of me.

Wow. That was just... awesome! I really liked the concept, and the visuals were amazing, you really got holographic material to work well! Plus, the music was excellent, and I like how lots of random sounds were played in the background too... Sort of symbolizing the unconscious psyche. The cutscene in the beginning was pretty well-done too. (And I caught the Majora's Mask reference! Hooray!) It was all awesome, so there's not much I can say about what you could improve. Perhaps you could make the bug move a little faster if that wouldn't mess anything up. And maybe have the camera angle down more when you are riding the seed down the abyss. But, all in all, that was an amazing level!2011-02-12 23:38:00

I just improved the level a bit.
The ladybug part is clearer and I added some decoration at the spiders.
By sometime I will improve the speed of the bug.

Thanks for all the help!

This level was a very beautiful level and certainly wasn't what I'd expected, to me this didn't even look like a forest but I don't think it was actually intended as a forest after playing it and understanding it. The storyline was very interesting.
The gameplay was fun but there were some rather difficult sections toward the end of the game but I managed them particularly the one after the grapple hook ride where you have to grab a green thing that floats down. That section was quite hard.
The camera angles were a bit annoying in some places but overall I really enjoyed this level, it was too beautiful and I loved the storyline too much.

Wow! Really good level.
The whole thing is extremely weird and surreal and I love the odd animal noises in the background. It creeped me out a little, but it felt like it fit in for some odd reason lol.
Can't wait for the sequel that ending was very cool. Reminded me of the last part of the Negativatron boss fight.

Here's a playthrough review for ya:

Initial thoughts

The introduction starts off beautifully, lovely simplistic theme and perfectly timed camera work. Also, I believe the music is sequenced - it's lovely!

Really nice concept for a level too. Getting caught in your dreams and such. Creepy stuff.

Level Start!

Wow. That's bright. And yet, not unpleasant to look at. I love the stylistic look to everything, the tree roots and such. The ethereal feel is perfectly suited to your concept. Again, your music is lovely, a sort of spacey feel and yet creepy at the same time.

The section where you grab on to the ladybug was a little slow at first, but when the obstacles came it was enough of a challenge to keep me involved. Following on from that, floating down on the dandelion seeds was a lovely touch. (I tend to enjoy little score bubble hunts)

On from that - bounce pads! These were tweaked well, they would project you far enough that things aren't impossible, but you still have to guide yourself through and time your movements.

To be continued.

About the only thing I can complain about here is length, but really the quality does make up for it. I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of criticism to give you, just comments. However, I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Was that Majora's Mask that I saw?
Enjoy the nice throw back to the original Little Big Planet going horribly wrong.
Loved the way it looked with the trippy backrounds and dream juice flowing everywhere I found the firefly part to be a bit slow but I think any faster and it wouldv'e been to difficult. Great use of the grappling hook though using its grabbing powers instead of its swining going against the norm.
