I am working on a level with remote controlled vehicles, I want to have the vehicle respawn 3 times then after the last one destroy the dcs that sack boy is transmitting from. I am wondering if I can make a "power-up" using tags that will give the emitter one more vehicle to spawn? Have a transmitting controllinator as the one sackboy uses and a receiving one that controls the vehicles. Whenever or vehicle is blown up or runs out of health or whatever, it could emit a square with a follower on that follows a tag in the top corner of the level and when the following object reaches the tag it adds one more to the counter and blows up the following object. Ooh.... We need a new logic thing! Instead of using our microchip logic we're gonna have to go back to the old LBP1 way.... Get the logic with the 3 way switch and the winches. Then anything that adds a life goes to a tag which moves one winch and anything like a death goes to the other. You should be able to use a directional combiner hooked up to a selector. When you want to remove health, activate the positive side of the DC. When you want to add health, activate the negative side of the DC. Then the different outputs on the selector activate whatever health bar you want. | 2011-02-06 17:01:00 Author: Yofig Posts: 288 |

I had the directional combiner hooked to the counter and it works death signal up one 1up signal down one. The problem is now with the emitted vehicle not having it's logic connected to the counter. That's the transmitter and receiver thing I mentioned in my first post here.
