Ahoy interwebs! I present to you Bejeweled! It's not close to being finished, but I thought I'd ask for the help of the community to identify any remaining bugs. Give it a whirl, and I'll check out what you've been working on as well!

Hello, played your Bejewled for few minutes. It worked well, but I encountered one weird bug.
I got lots of 3 jewel pairs at same time and the game didn't refresh empty spots until I swapped one jewels place just once.
I suggest there'll be time limit and some sweet music in background! You got my yay.

Just updated it, added a sixth gem and made it playable with the direction buttons.

Hmm.. I'm pretty sure that's a glitch that has to do withthe gravity being turned off if there's a marker on the board.

I just got finished with the level it was fun, the only bad thing is that you cant lock in your score and there's no music. add those things and it be awesome, oh maybe a menu ?2011-02-07 03:19:00

Wonderful recreation. I think the level could definitely benefit from being timed though, and instead of just ending the level, end it at a scoreboard. It's almost pointless if you aren't rewarded for how you did. Some kind of scenery to look at wouldn't hurt as well. Might be neat to maybe place it on top of one of the arcade screens from the Cosmos background?2011-02-07 19:25:00

Very cool recreation.

A few suggestions which may or may not be possible depending on how you have things working.

First: I would add a timer. That way, you could have a scoreboard as the game would end at the end of the timer. Logic shouldn't be too hard to make the change (if it was something you wanted to add).

Second: The looks of the blocks are good, but the game area could use a dress up. It would be nice if you added a border to the play area instead of just solid black.

Third: I would add challenge as the game progresses, activating new potential blocks when the score reaches certain points (at these points the timer could also be incremented up - assuming a timer was added).

Again, these suggestions are all based on the assumptions of what I think your background mechanics look like - they may not be possible depending on how you put the game together - they're just thoughts and ideas.

Update finished and out! No puzzle mode yet, but give it a shot! I'm still open to any F4Fs that come my way!
