Do you play LBP2 with a dualshock controller?

I recently got one, and think it's pretty cool how it vibrates when close to a hazard. Just curious wether it's worth the extra time/effort honing my hazards for effects. ![]() Oh darn. Holo doesn't vibrate the controller during close proximity, only on death. | 2011-02-05 10:02:00 Author: midnight_heist ![]() Posts: 2513 |
Well i can only say don't expect native support for it. Vibrations are number 1 thing that eats of battery in the controller and probably Sony limits developer in use of it, this is why MM can't give control over it via controllinator. | 2011-02-05 15:28:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
Duuud, I've been playing with dualshock since I got my first PS3, it's cool. And I don't think that the batteries have a short lifetime. ![]() | 2011-02-05 17:14:00 Author: gdn001 ![]() Posts: 5891 |

Ah, that explains why it stops if you stay close to a hazard for too long. ![]() I don't notice the difference in battery life myself. | 2011-02-05 17:18:00 Author: midnight_heist ![]() Posts: 2513 |
I have also not noticed a difference in battery life, but the close proximity vibration is a nice, somewhat subtle tweak in the gameplay. | 2011-02-05 17:21:00 Author: piggabling ![]() Posts: 2979 |
You can use the Move controller too. I turned on my Move and Navigation (like a Nunchuk from the Wii for PS3) and they were Wireless Controllers 5 and 6. Who knows, maybe LBP2 is playable with 6+ players! | 2011-02-05 17:24:00 Author: mutant_red_peas ![]() Posts: 516 |
oh? some people don't got dualshock? my PS3 always had it from start. it's almost hard to think what the game be like without it, as it helps tells you when something is trying to kill you. ![]() | 2011-02-05 17:25:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz ![]() Posts: 4261 |
