THIS LEVEL IS BORING...but beautiful. There is no fancy logic, no adrenaline rushing action, and no goofy characters. However, there is some of the most beautiful scenery on PSP, peaceful mood, and a twist ending...
I wanted to accomplish something akin to a painting with this level, so I spent most of my time on the visuals painstakingly corner editing evey rock, tree, and flower. I used famed scenery painter Thomas Kincaid as my inspiration, and I think I came close considering the limitations of PSP's few stickers and materials. There is some light gameplay to be had, easy puzzles and such, but it wasn't the point of this creation so please judge accordingly. I also made a little custom tune at the end of the level, to add a little personal touch. I hope all who give this a chance enjoy it. Thanks in advance, and I'll give feedback in return if you ask. Lemme know which level in your feedback.
Also, look it up under my PSN as I used asterixs in the title, and it may throw the search engine off. The asterixs in the title are "flowers"

Feedback time!

I definitely think you succeeded in creating a beautiful, peaceful level! I loved the corner editing and stickerwork, especially the ruins and the *spoiler deleted* near the end!

I also really liked the narrative poem, it carries you nicely through the scenery, almost like listening to a myth. It was clever to start the poem in the level's description, too

And I liked that you did put it in a few hidden bubbles and secrets, it encourages the player to spend more time in your painstakingly carved environs, which in this lovely level's case is a very good thing =D

Thanks for the beautiful trip!

Thanks Seek!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I hope you weren't thrown off by the *spoiler* ending. I always found it ironic that such a beautiful place, could be so sad Y'know? Plus, I know YOU can appreciate a good ruins area with flowers, because you were one of the first to do it on PSP! Incidently, I already have your new Skies level downloaded, but was busy trying to publish this here level. I will give feedback to you asap! Thanks again bud!

P.S., you know you love the asterix flowers!

Truly beautiful matey. I was lost in a lovely world. Loved it all the way through. Corner editing was sweet, loved the fountain and that whole area. Very dreamy kind of adventure. Reminded me of certain parts of LOZ Twlight Princess. Nicely placed score bubbles, like Seek said, makes you look around at all the bits of the level. Music fitted very nicely. 5 stars and a heart.
My latest is 'Going for a wonder' if ya wanna have a look dude, some feedback would be nice. There's a thread in the level showcase bit, cheers.

@ Random, lol, you're so dramatic. I hope the mushroom cloud isn't indicating that my level was a bomb.... waaah. I'll request a review in your thread to find out.

Feedback Time.

To avoid spoiling this epic level, I'm not going to name some objects.

The Bads

At the end, I could see the music logic.
-I climbed on something, then hopped on a bigger something and saw it-

The Goods

The Gameplay, Perfecto!!
-I loved how it felt the whole way through!-

!!The Scenery was gorgeous!!
-Need I say more?-

The twist at the end
-Though it was pretty depressing, I loved the ending!-

The Poetry
-You are quite the poet-

There aint no "The what" this time.

Oh look, :star::star::star::star::star: & 1 <3

@ The quester: Oh, gee, I never thought of that...hmmm. Thing is, you have to have the music box close so that you can here it clearly. I suppose I could have put a cloud or something up there. You naughty sack people always going places we creators don't think of...Do you all think it's worth republishing to hide it? I mean, I don't really care about losing plays as it doesn't have that many. Only 17 at present time. Aw, what the hell, I will I guess. Thanks for the review Quester! I will give you feedback on your newest spotlighted level, woowoo.

UPDATE: Republished - Music logic is now hidden, and I also found a typo inthe last verse of the ending poem, so I republished and of course, lost all plays/hearts. I don't expect anybody to replay it unless you want to, I don't really keep score of hearts/plays, etc. I thank everyone who played already, and if you haven't..why not try the new and improved version of a neat level.

Hey Random!
I don't know what you mean by the waterfall looking off colored.. The white gas above the waterfall is supposed to be white. It's supposed to give an effect of mist above the water, and the same down below.

Ive downloaded your level again matey, no problem doing that as its so good. Love the bit as you run into the pink flowers bit. The waterfall is fine with the grey gas bit. Can totally see what you was doing there and i think it works very well, looks great. Again, awesome level.2011-02-06 19:34:00

Haha I just noticed you were saying "bit" a lot and then I noticed you were from England... it's cool though!

ON TOPIC: I'm playing your level right now and will edit this when I'm done.
Wow I just took a look at your levels and had no idea they were that popular! I'm gonna play them all right now!

The Good______________________________________________ _________
-I guess you could say this level is beautiful with great scenery and good gameplay...but I don't think so. IT's AMAZING!
-The broken pillars with the stickers on them, the sound effects, the music, it was all pefect.
-The poem was great - did you write it?
The Bad_______________________________________________ _________
-1 thing: I got stuck in the wooden tree branch that fell because it looked tempting to crawl through haha. No big deal though.
The Rating____________________________________________ __________
-:star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 and a creator <3 well done!

Well Val...it is, I'm sorry. I feel like the PSP scene is DEAD. And when you get to the end of this level, it will be all the more ironic considering the theme, haha.

wow. Loved it. The insane detail really made your level stand out for me. There arent too many levels on lbp psp that are as art oriented as this one so i thought it was cool that you tried something different. Good job and hope to see more levels like this from both you and lbp psp in general. Btw You got a creator heart and a heart for the leve, so good jobl.2011-02-19 00:45:00

This level... it's amazing. I loved the scenery, which was simple but effective. The ending however was beautiful, not in detail or logic, but in its meaning. The pure thought of adding that final area made the title clear to me, where as before I thought it was just some fancy name you added. The piano was great and the poem that went with it was just perfect.

To be honest, though, I was half expecting a quote in the ending.

"Quoth the raven, 'Nevermore'."

I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Overall, :star::star::star::star::star: and a very well earned <3. Excellent job kaiju!

Peace

I'm starting to feel that a little too... And with this NGP coming up, who knows what will happen..

Anyways, I played this one through, and it was amazing. Your scenery is top notch and my jaw actually dropped a few times, so much detail! And the materials were absolutely great. Awesome job. :star::star::star::star::star: & <3

Btw, interesting ending. It was a depressing "poem", but I love sad stuff like that. If you read my short story, you'd know how much we have in common It also had me thinking at the end, which is a great sign of a great level.

F4F: If you have lbp2.. check it. (http://bit.ly/fXzegc)

@Cy Sora: Thanks man, good to know there's still some players that like a moody level. Yes, I have to say I was channeling Edgar allen Poe when making this level, lol.

@Val Thanks buddy! Sorry for deppressing you, but at least in a good way right? Yes, I have LBP2, and I will be giving you feedback asap! Sorry, I've been away for a few days, but I'll jump right on it.

@Spok: Same for you mate, I'll feedback on your new level, and thanks for playing mine.
