Greetings everyone! I apologize in advance if this was already discussed somewhere, but I have failed to find it. And unfortunately the tutorial in the game itself proved to be less than sufficient, although MM did their best. I would like to make a sidescroller with screen following the Sack boy to the right, but not allowing him to go back left, resulting in death. Or so that objects that remained away from the view to the left disappeared forever. With perhaps some kind of random generation of objects to the right. I would also like to make Sack boy appear at the score board after the death and at the starting point. I would appreciate any help

MM's simple solution was to have a death mechanic (like poison gas) on the left and the spawn gate following behind you. Your question is kinda too big to be answered though, as there are lots of different ways to do things and it all depends on what you're trying to do. You need to break down your questions in pieces that can be address. First off though, the usual, easier approach is to have the level scrolling right by actually having the scenery scroll left. Put a piece of invisible hologram in the middle of your play area with you camera on it. Create objects on the right out of shot with movers to move them left, and you've created a scroller. You can design blocks of level (like the caterpillar level) and use a sequencer to spawn them in turn. And using a randomiser with the sequencer, you could select from a number of options for each block. Once SB has died enough times, he'll spawn at the scoreboard anyway.
