Sackbots with powers.

Hey I'm trying to make some sackbot enemies that can fight the player.

In an ideal world, I would love to have three different types of enemy one with like an elctrobolt attack, a fire attack, and a melee attack.

I also don't want it immediately kill the player,

the player should also be able to use these attacks but be able to cycle through them, or pick up power ups to swamp which attach he can use.

Again i don't wish for one of these attacks to immediately kill the sackbots.

I know it's a tall order, but there must be something i could do.

Ok, what you're wanting does seem difficult at first glance, but it's definitely possible.

First, the player: the basic player controls don't allow the flexibility you want, so you'll need to use a sackboy controlled by a controllinator for each player in the level. (there's a good example of how this works in the story mode points challenge in Eve's asylum. I forgot the name of it though.

Secondly, the projectiles themselves.
The simplest way would be to use (invisible) emitters mounted to the sackbots, along with projectile sensors (with however much health u want a bot to have as the target value). Then by wiring that to an object destroyer, you have your health system.

As for how to Choose which weapon is being used, are you wanting a system where different buttons fire different projectile, or one button to fire and one to switch weapon?
