is there any place in lbp2 for expert difficulty levels?

I created a brief demo level of a shooter i want to make based on bullet hell games. where u must constantly dodge a barage of bullets. its becoming clear to me as ive published different copies, and even seen ppl play that most ppl fly around wrecklessly, lose all lives in a few seconds, nay the level, then the level gets 2 or 3 plays and thats it. it is just a quick demo, with little frills, but its well designed gameplay, with thoughtful logic.

im almost certain that a full length epic level, no matter how well designed, if hard, will basically get quick nays from ppl who nayed it for no other reason than they were bad at it, or didnt even try. leaving the level seen by nobody.

There is a niche audience for expert difficulty levels, particularly here at LBPCentral, but the majority of players in the wider community will downrate it. Remember there are many, many young kids playing this game who represent the new generation of gamer, and unlike many of us "oldies" here, these often spoiled and impatient young pups did not grow up playing games in the golden age before quick save and memory cards were invented. This new generation needs a sense of immediate gratification and will hate any level that makes them work hard for a sense of reward.

Something to bear in mind when planning your LBP career.

Hehe this reminds me how people was getting lot of points points on extreme difficulty in my Codec Snake, that for me it was ridiculously fast

Well this can be fixed by adding dualism to your level like story mode have where you gor two versions of same level in 1 level, one can be easy 2nd can be uber harder.
