Creating a level on 2 different PS3s
Archive: 4 posts
I have a quick question for the folks on LBPC. Is it possible to work on a level using two different PS3s? I'd like to create a level and continue working on it for two different locations. Is that simply a matter of publishing the map and downloading it where I want to work on the map? That seems like a bad idea if anyone else can download the level. First, they'd be playing an unfinished level. Second, I wouldn't want anyone else editing it. I'm new to the PS3 LBP workflow and I'd appreciate any suggestions for working on a level on different consoles. Thanks! | 2011-02-03 23:02:00 Author: Unknown User |
There are two ways I can think of. 1. Publishing it locked, and sending the key to the other psn if the other person isn't your psn. A locked level can only be played by those who have its key. 2. Probably you can export the level to a Flash drive, and then import the level using the flash drive. There should be an Export/ Import button in game... if you can't figure out how to do that I could give you a better explanation ;-; | 2011-02-03 23:21:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
Can a locked level be edited by someone else (who has the key)? Or can it just be played? | 2011-02-04 00:55:00 Author: Unknown User |
Can a locked level be edited by someone else (who has the key)? Or can it just be played? only if you set it to copyable... which I guess you'd have to do if you want to edit it on a different PSN. | 2011-02-04 00:57:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
