 Welcome to our first ever Community Spotlight! For those of you who don't know, Community Spotlight(formerly known as "Featured Creations") is a way for us to show off, or "Spotlight", our favorite levels made by you! We scour our Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=40) for awesome levels, and we neatly organize them in a list format to allow you to easily find them on your own. We've got a roundup of 12 different levels for you to tackle, all of which are fantastic in one way or another. If pictures and/or a video is available, it will be provided under the listing. Please keep in mind, these levels are in no specific order. How will you pay your check? Venture across the great pirate-filled sea to find your loot! The King has presented Sackboy/girl a vacation to wherever his/her little heart can imagine. Sackboy (let's just refer to sackboy from here on >.< ) starts the level in a jet en route to his dream destination. The music is happy and sackboy is in bliss just imagining how much fun he will have once he arrives!" - RedPanda And a note from me: this level is definitely worth a try. It's definitely very creative and I love the beginning of it. Can you survive the natives and get Out of Africa? Contrast plays a big role here, and there's really no answer to "Why?", although you'll be asking yourself that while playing through it. Give it a shot. I must warn you, I've been told that the level is rather difficult." And a note from me: While it isn't the most visually attractive level in the world, it is definitely challenging and fun. Give this level a chance, you might actually beat it. Definitely something you should give a try. Flee the destruction and escape safely or meet your demise. Media(if available): UjXoIp8X3lwTekno Fortress - aer0blue/aer0blue - Thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=3720) Description: "Tekno Fortress is a behemoth of a level that was inspired by many original 2D platforming games, so see if you can spot which one influenced on what! It also includes puzzles, branching paths, story, a secret boss, a LOT of prizes, and much, much more! Regarding the story, it's a sort of prequel to the upcoming chapters I'll be working on after the game's release. The level took me about 40 hours to make and an additional 8-9 hours of tweaking. I've attempted to incorporate every trick I've learned from the story mode plus a few tricks of my own. The final room uses over 15 switches, 4, motors, a few pistons, and a gaggle of geese. I built the level in sections so most of the cool stuff you'll see will be available as prizes. Thanks for the recognition ^.^ wish we coulda got video or pics up, but time got the best of us >.< Anyways, SkwerlChomp spent most of his days working on this level and it's been played about 50 times in 2 weeks. I hope this can spread a little light onto his work, cause in my opinion, his attention to detail really makes the level stick out. Due to thermometer limitations, the story will be continued. The second level is in the works, and this site will be notified upon completion. | hey i hope i can get on this list soon, i just uploaded a level called "Time" it might be a little hard to find as i never have tried to find it myself, but look for the dragon eye patch (no there is not a dragon in it) and i uploaded it early because i thought what better a way then to have other people say what they would like me to do with the final touchups, i am done with all the challenges and stuff just need to get the final touch ups done and i just wanted to ask if you guys could play it and leave a comment on things you would want to to see in it. Please play it i spent quite a bit of time on it Cheers! P.S. the puzzel at the end i will give you guys some help so that does not frustrate you: start at the top left and all the pieces in the pieces box going from left to right and top down in the actual puzzle that is reversed so the top left one in the box is the one in the bottom right in the puzzle: So please play it, i have not had many plays because people well i do not think that they see it in the cool levels or what not so if you have any tips to get my level pushed farther up in the cool levels list so i can get more plays on it then please respond to give me and to give us all some tips P.P.S oh and the story is that Time is your new master and you are its new test subject and so in this level you have to overcome obstacles that the clock has set up for you in a quick fashion so you do not get blown up with the rest of the level Cheers! | 2008-11-15 20:03:00 Author: RAINFIRE  Posts: 1101 |

| The fact that sony,or anyone else for that matter believes that people wont make levels based on other fiction is just insane. I mean come on....we arent going to charge people for these levels =_= I mean really...how long will this game last if we cant make levels based on other games,movies,TV shows and such? | Out of curiosity, how are the levels for community spotlight picked? Is it just one person picking them? Also, I'm glad we're having a whole 12 levels in one go instead of just the one. The whole cannon section, camera zones, the river section, speech bubbles and I ton of other things were completely changed or modified so this video is not the best representation of my level as it stands. At one point on the cannon bit, the flowery background did a double flip and then landed on top of the other half of the flowers. | Yeah, sorry to be bother but so much has changed with the level that I feel another video is definitely warranted. If you have the time to do that then great but if not then I can find another way. The truth is that it seems like video is what really sells a level and for that reason I definitely want my level represented in the best possible light.
