The Olympic opening ceremony...was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my entire life...:eek: I am in awe of these people... They have sooo much potential...which is such an odd statement in itself...being that they have influenced the world for eons... Its just nice to take a peek into a culture that is now after all this time opening the door...

I dont know if they have a youtube videos, but ill make my own highlights list *They had fireworks going off all over china leading up to the stadium in the shape of foot prints so it looked like a giant walking up to the stadium and when they stopped at the stadium they had a huge fireworks show. *They had 2008 Drummers all lied up in perfect lines and on beat the whole time *They had a LCD screen in the shape of a scroll and it unrolled, and if i remember straight it was 500 feet long. *They had 2008 i guess what you could call dancers

I saw it, well most of it.. it was amazing! I also saw george bush's facial experession change when the iraqis came on. that was funny! It was amazing.. I doubt my country will do anything like that next time (2012 London)... heck, everybody already hates the logo we've come up with.

I'm not too much of a sports person myself... don't really keep up with the olympics or anything. One of my friends said the ceremony was the most boring thing ever... maybe he didn't watch it all.

Hey guys, the Olympics opening ceremony was breathtaking but you guys do know some of it was faked... It was announced about two days after I think...
