Had a go at it earlier! I think the idea is a really good one, and the little intro speech is cute, but the overall execution needs tweaking - the 'fire' bar takes too long to reload in comparison to the speed at which purple balls spawn (as you can tell by the low-scoring scoreboard), while the range of attack is too low to take out more than 2 or 3 balls. Tweak that and you've got yourself a very fine challenge level My level is in my sig if you can try it!
