Creating bouncing flipper-like things.

I'm having issues working my head around how flippers work. For example, how do the Meerkats in Meerkat Manor pop up when you go on top of them and then go straight back down? All the flippers I make flip you where you want to go, but they slowly retract back down which is not what I want. Help? EDIT: Ah, got to use one shot. You can delete this thread now Mr. mod man. | 2008-11-14 19:39:00 Author: UmJammerSully Posts: 1097 |

What happens is that a sensor switch is attached to the flipper and the switch is set to "direction" so that whenever a player activates the sensor switch, , the resting piston will pop up in the opposite direction, and when the player leaves the area of the sensor switch, it goes back to the resting position | 2009-11-12 19:47:00 Author: damaz10 Posts: 771 |
Dude, stop bumping ridiculously old threads... | 2009-11-12 19:49:00 Author: ARD Posts: 4291 |
Hey damaz, please refrain from necro'ing threads this old, as you can see the last recent post before yours was made on November 14th (which just so happens to be my birthday. ) If threads are that old, leave them alone, as you can see the original poster doesn't even come onto the site anymore. Thanks! | 2009-11-12 21:01:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |
