I have a music sheet for what i want to make but i am having trouble with eighth notes and getting them timed right, i can do everything else just right, but anything i try doesnt seem to work with those

What time is the music in? It's easiest to work in 4/4 or 2/4 time.

Its 4/4, but its not really the eighth notes, I'm not very knowledgeable in sheet music, the notes i am having a problem with is the eighth note barred and connected with a bracket(i don't know what it is) with a 3 on it, any help?

I'm just learning piano, so I don't remember exactly how that works: but basically that means you're dividing an interval by 3 instead of 4. For instance, with that notation (and a song in 4/4 time) you could have "1/3 notes", three notes of equal length taking up the whole measure. I don't know how to handle things like that in tracker-style sequencers, short of speeding up the sequencer to increase the resolution... In general I'd really like to get skilled enough both with the tools of making music and with the skills of composition to be able to make some kind of useful music... It's tough for me, I don't really know how to proceed except try to improve my piano skills and hopefully pick up a better working sense of music that way... Drum sequencing is a complete mystery to me. I mean, I can sequence drums but I don't know how to turn that into a good beat... <sigh> Not something one can learn by asking of a forum, I guess.
