gaining points for shooting another player (NOT a sackbot) with the creatinator?

yeah ... basically what the title says.
i wanna make a versus game where you gain points for each time you shoot another player (an actual player, not a sackbot)...
i've tried just about every logic/switch thing in create mode and can't figure it out.

i wanted to make it so they didn't have to DIE to earn points... like just be hit by the ammo (i was going to use something like stars as ammo )
but if there's no way to do that, i guess i'm going to have to stick with the killing

My first hunch as well until I realized that holo has no impact as it passes through everything. Replacing it with a physical material, however, will cause impacts with walls to give you points.

I think the holo does impact...I could be wrong, but I think it was triggering impact sensors on some of my devices, but something set to follow players possibly with a censor on it?2011-02-02 19:04:00

Holo also triggers impacts when tagged. I'd look to use sackbots, as you can tag them and put a score giver on the projectiles triggered whenever they hit a tagged SB, meaning they won't award points for just hitting scenery. OR you could tag all the scenery and projectiles with a label Not_Player, and award points if there's impact that isn't with any of these by ANDing the impact scenery with an inverted impact sensor tagged for Not_Player. (Impact Sensor) AND (INOT (mpact Sensor(Not_Player)). But then you'd be able to shoot yourself to score!

I really think something like this needs sackbots!
