I've seen text that doesn't appear to be from magic mouth, like for example http://lbp.me/v/x97q6f Doesn't have magic mouth text, it's just like MM made the text. How can I achieve this same kind of text?

Try not to double/triple post. Makes threads hard to follow. So I have no idea what the level your referencing is as I haven't played it but odds are it's either text made from hologram or if it's text at the bottom of the screen it's a magic mouth set to subtitle and run with a movie camera. If anyone knows they'll post I'm sure - try and be patient.

I think the text has been made by using a magic mouth as subtitles, probably along with a movie camera or something. Hope that helps!

That images is probably from early beta. Community jam stage I think? Anyways, you would have to make it yourself. Possibly on a foreground glitched layer. Not sure if followers still work in those layers. As I don't think there is any support for typable text which doesn't have the black bars at the bottom and top of the screen. I stand corrected. Nice tip.

Put a magic mouth on a game sequencer(edit length,position), enable "Show subtitles" option in magic mouth's tweaks

I'm taking a wild guess here, but it could be done with a voice recording (using a mouth). You'd have to record something, then set the volume of the mouth to 0%, and then turn subtitles on. The desired text on screen would be entered into the subtitle option. You can then set the mouth to activate (on repeat) for the duration that your cursor is hovering over the objective.

They're subtitles. Do what darkphoenix said a few posts above. You don't have to record anything.
