I think now that you can make almost any kind of game there need to be a DLC of just weapons... like a LOT of them... cheap ones like wood up to really rare and fancy looking ones :O

The creatinator, while cool in concept, is the most ridiculous concept of a weapon. A helmet? Really? Would've been much better to add creatinator capabilities to the paint gun, because it at least was a gun... But the helment idea as a weapon kinda blows...

Look at it as what it is. A portable Emitter. The fact it can be used as a weapon should not figure in the equation, as the regular emitter can be used as a weapon as well. Just not portable.

I would agree with that. Though I think you should be able to just create handheld items. Within moderation of course. Don't want anyone creating unfit for LBP items. Then again I am from a website that allows you to create almost anything (within reason as well). It would be interesting to see something like that for LBP2.

There are 2 blade weapons that I know of (because I actually have them, I don't have much DLC) the pirate sword (PoTC-LBP1) and clues disk (Gamestop preorder/CE). Plus the frying pan. And there is a magic wand. None of them actually do anything though. You can hit people with them, but they just fall over (same effect if unarmed). Any handheld item that had a a deadly edge would be nice. LBP1 has a knife that, while not holdable, would kill you if you touched it. Something like that if hand held would be cool. Also a hand held creatinator. Would work the same way, but hand held. If it had a nice simple design they could include decorations that would make it more gun like, such as barrels, scopes, bayonets, stocks. We could decorate them just like we can the creatinator.

You forgot the wooden sword and the patapon weapons wich are an axe a bow and a cooler sword
