Current Affairs electric shock

Archive: 8 posts

Ok, so in the level Current Affairs in Victoria's Laboratory, they have pinballs that send an electric shock/lightning to each other. It may sound noobish, but is this possible to recreate in create mode? If so, how? Thanks.2011-02-02 03:03:00

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty positive it's meticulously emitted holograms. It's probably a pain to design the individual bolts, but I'm pretty sure that's how they did it.2011-02-02 03:04:00

Thanks, yea i can imagine that that would be a pain to time perfectly and create. I'm gonna try it anyway though!2011-02-02 03:08:00

Thinking it over, you don't necessarily have to use emitters. You can probably just preposition the hologram material, set it to invisible as default, then trigger it's brightness and a danger tweaker simultaneously (and the do the same successively for each bolt).2011-02-02 03:16:00

^^^ that sounds about right.
Just have it sway back and forth and use a tag sensor to tell when it swings over the hologram.

This. With a sequencer.

It works well with the hologram and a tag switch, I also rigged an endless timer loop and it works with that to.2011-02-02 03:49:00
