For my project intro, I need to know how to make a scrolling type camera. I want it to move from one place to another, except scrolling down into the other place. Ive tried to do this before, but with no success. Can somebody help me? :SH:

I take it your know about sequencers and the panning abilities? Or what about sticking it on a piece of invisible hologram material with a mover and a tag where you want it to go? I apologise if this seems a little patronising, but those are the only two ways you could do it, to my knowledge, and you never said what you had tried so far.

it really is a lot easier than that! just make 2 movie cameras, connect one to the other. set the view of the first one to where you want to start, set the view of the second one to where you want it to end. set the transition type of the second one to either hard or soft pan. you may have to mess with hold time and transition time.

Tried that with 10 second transition time. Didnt even scroll, just jumped to the 2nd camera's view. :SH:

did you change the transition type to hard or soft pan? Yes. I even tried in another level- worked completely fine. In the level that actually matters and where i actually need the scrolling, it doenst work. :l :SH:

could you capture the thing that works and place it in the level you don't have it working in, then edit the working one to fit what you need?
