Can anybody point me in the right direction?

I have been messing around with sackbots and logic and cant seem to find out how to control emitted objects i have read the thread on Sackbot A.I and Logic Tutorials but its not that clear and i would like to do some thing like this guy did here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH9IW83Wxl4 Help would be great, thanks | 2011-02-01 22:11:00 Author: Unknown User |

lets say you have an emitted sackbot. you want it to jump when you press x. (assuming the player is already in a DCS) place a tag on the DCS that the player is in. and connect the X button to it. so when you press x the tag turns on and wen your not pressing x the tag turns off. then you have your sackbot that will be emitted. place a second DCS on its surcetbord? surcitbord?? sercetbord??? ok i cant spell that word but i hope u know what it is lol! anyway... tweak the sackbots DCS and make it a receiver of the same color that the players DCS is. then place a tag sensor on the DCS on the sackbot and connect the sensors output to the X buttons input be sure that the tag will always be in range of the tag sensor. does that help? | 2011-02-01 22:50:00 Author: slidedrum Posts: 189 |
