SCENARIO: PSN user_____ is on my Block List and has sent several friend requests through different accounts trying to get me to add them as a friend. Those accounts are also blocked. PSN user _____ has some of the same PSN friends as I do and is ABLE to join if I am NOT hosting in LBP1 and LBP2. f If I am hosting, they are unable to join, thankfully. If the blocked person joins through mutual online friends, I leave so others online playing isn't affected. PSN user_____ is able to leave comments on my LBP2 profile although they are on my PSN Block List. SUGGESTIONS: If a PSN user is on a person's block list, any other bogus created PSN accounts should automatically be blocked. (Maybe by way of IP address? Not sure how that all works) If a PSN user is on a person's block list, I feel they shouldn't be albe to post comments on LBP profiles.

This is a problem with all games, Sony should really develop some tools to allow developers their own tools to not allow blocked users play with other users. Come to think about it, it might be too complex to be possible. Does anyone know if there is such a system on xbox360?

I think it's hard to determine which are bogus accounts. In my house there are two of us sharing one game system and one IP address. Why is this person being so pushy to get you one their friend list?

Not sure how that all works) IP is very unrealibale source in IPv4 that we currently using, it won't prevent proplr to getting to you if thye really want. I don't know if SDK give access to block list but yes then it should. Keep in mind thru PSN is very open network compare to Live (there games that don't use PSN at all lol). In Live game servers are hosted by MS, in PSN game servers are hosted by developers and PSN only provides services to integrade PSN with game it self

it might be too complex to be possible. Nothing is too complicated to be possible, but Mm might cross some T&C line if they tried something like that. I'm not even going to pretend I know

I don't think developers can stop people from joining a game you're not hosting but they can automatically mute that person for you. Burnout Paradise does that.

I think it was either an example or he was joking but I agree, I've not had problems with connecting with people on my blocked list but then there's hardly anyone on my blocked list just a few abusive people I met playing SCIV, I've not really had a problem on LBP2 but I can see where the poster is coming from, you wouldn't really want to have any communication with someone on your blocked list, I know I sure wouldn't, I only add people to my block list if they're offensive or abusive I wouldn't just block someone for wanting to be friends
