Cutscene problem: Camera stays at the bottom

So I'm trying to make this cutscene level but every time i go into play mode the camera just hangs at the bottom, I've used a sequencer with moviecamera's on them but it wont activate

I've tried placing a battery in front of the sequencer, a battery on the sequencer, a battery directly on the camera's without a sequencer, nothing works

Can this be a bug or something?

Yup and it works in create mode, but when I enter play mode i only get a camera stuck at the bottom of the level =/2011-02-01 15:29:00

Hmm... I recall having the same problem in a test I was doing. Haven't looked into that yet, but there was definitely a camera in there...2011-02-01 15:42:00

I had the same problem, what you wanna do is connect a battery to the sequencer en set it to Play Forward. Then in the sequencer you press square at the very beginning. If done correctly a small gradiant bar should appear on your sequencer. This indicates where the sequencer must start.

This worked for me, hope it does for you I'll make a screenshot of my setup if it still doesn't work for you

Make sure the zone of the camera is not too far or too little. This seems to be a problem for many a creator and it's such an easy fix.2011-02-01 16:16:00

I didn't test cinematics in the final game yet, but I know it was a kind of bug in the Beta :

When your level is set to "cutscene" type, you had that camera just hanging at the bottom problem.
It worked just fine when you change and set the level type to "cooperative" or "versus"... don't know why

So it means MM didn't fix that problem too...?

That makes total sense for the level I was experiencing problems with. Will check tonight.

Edit: I can report back that this indeed fixed my level. I wonder what will happen if I ever decide to make an actual movie level.
