Has anyone done a level where you are supposed to change between sackbots with the push of a button in order to solve puzzles? I'm working on a level like that and I want to know if anyone has figured out how to keep the player from controlling two sackbots. I'm trying to keep the controlinator that I'm using self-contained which I have managed up until now. I set it up so that it deactivates the sackbots after .3 seconds but I want to know if theres a way to only deactivate one instead of both while still keeping it self-contained. | 2011-02-01 05:33:00 Author: PC-Wizard Posts: 8 |
Easy all u have to do is have the alternate sackbot's movement logic tied to an "AND" switch that requires a TAG Sensor. have your TAG on your floating holo controlinator that your using to jump back and forth with (I assume thats what your doing) and voila No tag= No move. Actually in the level you jump between them by walking near another one and pressing triangle. I published a level that uses it here. (http://lbp.me/v/xee9b-) But thats just a demonstration.
