Should I publish over my LBP1 level?
Archive: 5 posts
I've just made some major updates to one of my LBP1 levels and I'm planning to republish over it. When I do this though, it'll be unplayable in the first game and I think the play count will reset. I'm a bit worried that it might not get it's play count back and risk fading into obscurity. Is this to be concerned about or am I just being paranoid? So far the level (bp1 version) has been quite successful with over seven hundred views. | 2011-02-01 03:49:00 Author: Unknown User |
Well you could just put as a new level in LBP2. That way people in LBP1 could still play it if they wanted to. Unless you plan on using all 20 of your slots and are worried about room. | 2011-02-01 03:51:00 Author: Kitkasumass Posts: 494 |
It's still basically the same level and has over 100 hearts so I've been thinking the best coarse of action is to just republish it. It does keep it's hearts. My main concern is it fading into obscurity. If I post it as a new lvl then it's more likely to not get noticed but if I republish it, I'm worried it may make both of them unnoticed since it seems reset the play count. What is more important for a lvl to show up? Hearts or plays? | 2011-02-01 03:58:00 Author: Unknown User |
Hearts! For me i'd play a level with anything over 50 hearts | 2011-02-01 17:46:00 Author: keanine Posts: 114 |
i would publish a new one right next to it and set the old one to only be viewable in lbp1. | 2011-02-01 20:08:00 Author: slidedrum Posts: 189 |
