I just completed LBP2, but I want to get all the prizes. I'm thinking of buying the Bradygames guidebook, but is It worth the money?2011-02-01 01:45:00

i would say no. i do not know what is in there but i am sure that everything that is in there you can also find online. and also the prize bubbles are not that hard to find. if you need help with finding them i might be able to help you. if i cant i know someone else can.2011-02-01 01:50:00

I wouldn't buy it to be honest with you, there are plenty of walkthrough video guides on YouTube 2011-02-01 08:30:00

I would buy it but only if other cool things would be in it.
Artworks, handy explanations of tools, these kind of things.
Otherwise no, you would want to have a look at it, if it has only the walkthroughs I don't think it's worthy.

I bought it hoping it would have in-depth create mode sections especially as it proclaims "Ultimate Creator Resource" across the front (UK edition). Well it's not. Terribly written and often incorrect2011-02-02 14:42:00

Yeah, if you go through the levels again, you can usually find the prizes by yourself. Just be on the lookout for any hidden areas, and be sure to do all of the x2, x3, and x4 parts (these may take some time). Be on the lookout for sticker sqitches, as most of these give you access to new areas. Two level-specifc tips I have are:

In the level "Sackbot Redemption," after you carry enough sackbots across the gaps with falling electricity, backtrack and you'll find that a small shelf has filled with prize bubbles.
In the "Bang for Buck" level, activating the sticker switch at the beginning gives you access to a Creatinator that shoots bombs. You can return to the start after getting this to blow apart some boxes on the ceiling. After that, be on the lookout for surfaces that look different, as these can usually be blown up to give you prizes. At the parrt where you blow up two boxes to make a ramp fall, you can then travel behind the ramp to access a secret passage with a few prize bubbles.

If it's something you can do on your on, it isn't worth a cent from someone else.

Is it legal to post all the locations? I was thinking of drawing a map that you could follow that would lead to everything. I was also thinking of telling how to ace them.
