I'd rather have the money.

Exactly. With so many great games out I can't be wasting money on costumes.

Saving the money isn't even about other games, I personally just think it's pointless to buy "outfits" for your character, it doesn't give you special powers, doesn't make you run faster, it just makes your character look different, and if I want my character to look different I can just add an utter sticker on his forehead, and Wa-La! A "cool" new costume

But gameplay DLC, I will be getting.

If it's something really amazing, I'll probably spend a buck or two.
But not like "hey it's this weeks DLC time to buy all the costumes".

I plan on buying the only ones I like (Probably MGS4 and the MM Shirt). But honestly, it would be much better to just wait until Gameplay/Objects/Stickers/Etc. LittleBigPlanet DLC. Much more worthwhile and probably more expensive2008-11-13 23:50:00

I'll only consider buying awesome ones, like Snake, Sephiroth, Killzone, Motorstorm, and maybe that new shark or frog one.2008-11-14 00:16:00

The amount of detail that Mm has put into those costumes is amazing, they are beautiful designs. I for one commend Mm for keeping to their word and releasing weekly downloadable content. If Mm had released levels instead of costumes people would be in here ranting about the lack of costumes in the game, YOU CAN NEVER SATISFY THE MASSES!!!!!!2008-11-14 05:46:00

I won't. I can't justify spending money on something that doesn't expand the gameplay experience.2008-11-14 14:02:00

I bought them, mainly for my sister who spends more time swapping clothing thatn playing levels. She has only played through 'the gardens'.

They are pretty good, but im keeping my Wanderer costume i made.

I REALLY want them, but I can only get the free ones. They are region locked, and seeing as I have the NA version and I live in the UK and don't have a US credit card, I can't get them. I'm really annoyed by that, really.2008-11-14 19:37:00

Right they're all mine now.
Just went on and got the animal pack, the space suit and that plant one lol
Absolutely gutted that it looks like I missed out on the first week t-shirt thing though

Someone on here (think it was Quozl, can't remember lol) said that you can buy US PS Store vouchers on amazon and then just use them as a redeem code.
And that's how other people with multiple accounts in different regions get around it
Something like that anyway lol

See, the problem for me is I like costume parts xD You know so I can make my own costumes with them. I want the pengin's scarf and his skin could be cool if decked out with other costume bits. The ape just looks amazing and I want that motorstorm helmet. So I'll probably become an LBP collector :arg: I actually already have a costume I use all the time, but once in a while it's fun to get creative with the costumes when you want a break from creating levels 2008-11-15 17:06:00

I bought all the new ones they just added
I cant resist.
Now if I really dont like the costume then I simply wont get it,but if it comes in a bundle with somthing I like then ima just buy them all XP

To me customization is the best part of a game like little big planet, and I want all the costume parts I can get.

Eh? What's with the DLC costume hate? If it's too expensive like the week one shirt then I can understand but things like the animal pack are pretty sweet. It's just a nice little extra.2008-11-15 23:03:00

Agreed.

By the wait, what happened to the Week One T-Shirt and the Spacesuit? I'm guessing they only had it up on PSN for a little bit?

It was called "Week One" for a reason.

I would like to know why I never saw it on the Playstation store though
Was it only up for one day or somthing?

Cause if it would have been up with the spacesuit than I would have seen it

It was only out in Europe, so far. Although a week one shirt a month after release would seem strange.

I will buy some of the awesome costumes, especially the ones with parts that can be used to make other awesome costumes.
