Umm okay since you don't know I'll elaborate... Level links can be used for most levels by shifting through the options... But if you have levels published with the 'sublevel' setting on, you can link levels with those sublevels too. So how he did it was a simple level edit with 'sublevel' on so only the creator could see it.

but does it add to the limit of levels your allowed to have? Unfortunately yes, though I'm not sure whether it pops onto the visible level count or not. But for data space, yes it is filled.
