Do you give up the use of the Square button using a remote controlled sackbot?

| I've noticed that theres no option to turn off the pop-it menu if you are controlling a sackbot. Any button I attach to square to make the sackbot do something brings up my real sackboy's pop-it, and never does the actual output I set to the button.
