I need a microchip to be deactivated from the output of my AND gate rather than be activated, I also need the microchip to begin on if that even changes anything. I'm sure the answer is simple, but thanks for your help anyway

That's what a NOT gate is for. If you put the output of your AND gate through a NOT gate, in the beginning it will be ON. If your AND gate's output is on, then the NOT gate will change it to off.

Try putting connecting the output of an AND gate to a NOT gate, then the output of the NOT gate to the microchip. Im not sure of this yet, as i'm not a Logic Pro, but it was worth a try
