How do you get an item to be a projectile ?

Does anyone know if you can actually get an item to be deemed a projectile ? I am trying to modify a missile then emit it . When I do this it does not recognize as a projectile , which prevents being able to be destroyed that way .2011-01-31 21:24:00

I think the projectile sensor will only sense projectiles of a given lethal nature, such as fire, plasma, electric, etc... Impact sensors are used for other objects impacting the item. However, bumping inot things will also signal the impact sensor.2011-01-31 21:34:00

You can put a tag onto the missile and put a tag sensor on the object to be destroyed and hook the sensor up to a counter and have the counter hooked up to a destroyer?2011-01-31 21:36:00

Actually instead of using a tag sensor you would want to use an impact sensor that only recognizes the tag of the missile. Sorry bout that.2011-01-31 21:43:00

There's a checkbox on the sensor, I believe it's called Require Tag. Check that and the color and name options will appear.2011-01-31 21:50:00
