So, can you guys honestly tell me, you were just about to ace the bunker (maybe it was collecters lair), and you died because someone invited you to a game? IT POPS UP, AND MAKES YOU LET GO. Not to mention that it just completely interrupts you. It's so irritating! If I get an invite, just give me a notification, and I'll access it from the start menu! Jesus! It doesn't even pause the game for you, so you don't die. It's even worse when that person won't leave you alone.. Agreed?

I thought it was something reserved for later. @ Stix: Err...No xD you did it once when I was playing Azures Palace, and was like "No lol". It's when you had that friend over.

Yes! There was a system in Burnout Paradise when one of your friends sent you an invite, it would notify you, then you had to go through a menu to select the invite, and it worked (unless you had 20 hardcore fans on your friends list!). When trying to navigate the wheel of doom, the last thing you need is that. Its worse than those pop-ups that just replace your screen rather than opening a new window.

And you can't be bothered to log in and out every time you want to play "Cool levels", or use anything related to online in the game. Another thing is, people like keeping their PSN on. Maybe someone needs something of you and sends you a message? or the other way around.

I always get them, mostly when I'm creating though ( a lot of the time ) Hopefully my level is good. I just refuse them, I hope people don't hate me for it

I hardly get invites, but I suppose it's because I'm friends with hardly anybody here. However, when I do, it's when I'm in Create Mode. It's almost as if people are waiting for you to go into an Empty Level, then they attack you!

in battlefield: bad company when you get an invite you have to exit the game for it to work. Usually if you're playing a game and you get an invite by the time you exit and accept the invite joining it is already too late.

I got ambushed by an invite today. The message didn't even pop up completely, and I guess I accidentally confirmed. Next thing I knew, I was in someone elses pod. At least I found out online multiplayer is still laggy.

It shows you in the XMB what level your friends are in. Maybe if they just showed you that in the LBP "friends" screen, people could make better decisions? I wouldn't invite someone I knew was trying to ace the bunker, for instance!
