How do I make an animation like the one in the introductino level? I am pretty sure it's using holograms but I can't figure out how to use them like that.

Well first of all you need to make a hologram for each frame of your animation then place batteries on a sequencer depending on how many frames you have connect the batteries to the holograms in order. Now all you have to do is run the animation you might want to mess around with the time per bar setting to make it just right.
