How To Ace The Bunker!

Archive: 27 posts

OK, this info was passed onto me by a friend, and by golly it worked!

For the infamous wheel of doom, wait until you are on the second outer 'layer' and grab onto the last spongy bit until you are furthest west. Now drop down onto the bit with the checkpoint and once you are furthest north-west, then jump onto the outer wheel. Run west on the top until the very end (this cuts out all that arduous jumping, and wait until you get to the very end. Wait for the circle to rotate a tad then jump onto what will be the side of the highest, last platform. It should be vertical at this time. This is a bit of a hit and miss, but hey, its better than doing all of the others. Then after a while jump onto the original platform, then down into the pits below. Even with this the level is still hard and frustrating, just a lot easier than before.

Hoped this helped!

I haven't tried to ace this level yet but when I finished the bunker I had no problem with that part. I got through first time.

Without dying? Wow nice.

That part is cake. I just aced the Bunker a second time, and all my deaths were caused elsewhere, because I kept rushing. Once I actually jumped out of the wheel, but it hadn't rotated enough so I jumped straight into a wall of electricity.2008-11-14 00:01:00

I just aced the bunker on the first try since I finished it last week. After I aced it, my mom was looking at me strange and wanted to know what I was dancing about 2008-11-14 07:13:00

This drove me mad. I really struggled with it, having said that it was with three other players. A lot easier on your own.2008-11-14 09:08:00

The wheel isn't the hard part. The hard part is to keep the patience 'cuz you die on the easiest traps in that level2008-11-14 12:55:00

I must have spent over an hour trying to ace this. I should have taken a break after a few tries (as I was going through acing all levels and this was the before last one O_o) might have taken less time! I actually died the most often on the same *#^$@ army truck thing, you know with the spinning electric rods in the middle. Lol, so stupid but when you're trying too hard not to die, it happens! Then I finally beat the wheel the normal way, running through it like a mad man running away from his sanity xD So yea, this warranted a little dance on my part too :arg:2008-11-16 14:37:00

Tried to ace it today, couldn't. Was driving me crazy. THOSE ****ing trucks!!! Yeah, I don't really understand what you said, but I will read it as I am trying it next time. thanks.2008-11-17 01:05:00

Those robot things with three brains kept getting me over and over more than that wheel did (that middle brain has to be on something that's not flat, cause I kept slipping into the electricity). Everything else is just learning the timing.2008-11-17 01:11:00

Oh gosh. From the sounds of these guys, it's going to take me FOREVER to ace this. I mean, it took me an hour and a half to ace boomtown... Dx

I aced it today. I ended up acing it the second time I tried to.. given that just a few days ago I spent hours on end just trying to beat the level without acing.. lol. This level helped improved my jumping so much.. haha.

With those army truck things I just jump right over them. That is, I hit the first bubble which then gives me enough forward moment to hit the last bubble and then continue running. You have to do this when they're coming towards you though.

Acing the level? Man, I can't even pass the thing!

I'll have to give this idea a shot though. I'm just too cautious with platformers, and this one punishes you if you wait too long most of the time.

I prefer to do it the "right" way actually. Sure, going on top gets you a bunch of the way around without any effort, but getting out is a matter of luck. When you go the right way, it's more about skill... which is much easier to learn!2008-12-11 14:07:00

I just completed the all of the story levels a few hours ago, and this level was god awful to try and complete at all, never mind ace!

Don't even want to even think of getting through it without losing a life right now
