this isn't the first time though I was playing a community level and my game froze, so I restarted my ps3. Once the game started, it asked if i wanted to import my LBP Profile. I Chose yes and EVERYTHING I had done in LBP2 was gone Then it happened again. Same thing but this time when it asked if I wanted to reset my profile, I just tuned off the ps3 because I knew what was going to happen... After a quick search on the internet i found that if it asks that you choose 'not now' and your profile loads normally. When I went to do this though, it didn't ask to load my profile but it just started a new blank one. Some of my stuff stayed, like the levels I created on My Moon and my pod decoration, which I saved. I thought I could do story mode one more time because I know I wont lose everything again (I just found the profile backup thingy). When I went to the tutorials menu I just chose 'Unlock All' but now I've notice that I don't have the Flame, Plasma or Electricity Tools. I have Horrible Gas and everything else in the tools bag seems fine except for those 3. Is there an easy way to get these tools back or should I reset my profile again before I get too far in the story?

Hmmm... I think maybe you need to reset it again. I also suggest that until MM gets the bugs ironed out with a patch that you backup your profile pretty constantly. Sorry about your issues.

thanks for the quick reply! I think I'll wait for a patch... But for now I can use the Danger Tweaker, I guess.

Yeah Back-Up your profile after everytime you play. Thats what i do because you never know. Btw dont make a new backup everytime just overwrite one everytime.

same thing happened to me! except it was not a community level. for me it said "your lbp1 profile has changed do you want to import it now?" i was like lolwut?? no it hasn't! so i selected no. i lost ALL of my story related stuff (costumes, levels, materials) and all of my pins. but luckily my moon was ok, and that is all i really care about. now i back up after just about everything! i also suffer from not having the fire electricity, but for some reason i still have either gas or plasma (or whatever its called) idk witch I'm not at my ps3 now. there is nothing you can relay do about it except back up your profile constantly, in the event that it happens again.
