Hi all, this is my first post. I intend to try and be a dedicated creator, and through experience I hope to become more adept at this stuff. Anyways, I was browsing many forums and seeing a lot of parents that have children who have difficulty with the levels. So, I said to myself...hey why don't I make a set of educational levels just for children? :-). Below is a basic "unorganized" layout of what I wish to accomplish. Alphabet Learning Level 1. Have a platform Sackboy rides to learn 1/4 of the alphabet at each stop 2. While riding platform and passing specific letters, sound emits explaining what each letter sounds like and different words that work with the letters. different pictures will also popup representing the words used. 3. When getting off platform, a quiz will take place with the letters reviewed. Score will be awarded for right answers. (will most likely use a randomizer with add 1 feature. Switches will be decorated with the different letters. Upon hitting a particular switch the picture of the represented letter will popup.) Once all questions are finished, gate will open allowing access to the next set of letters. 4. Pattern repeats until all letters have been learned. 5. Close to end of level will be an alphabet grid with an elevator platform that reaches all levels of the grid. 26 switches total. 10 sounds will randomly sound. Player will get score *2 for answering correctly in this "test". Pictures will popup with correct answer as well. ****another possible idea is to have magnetic keys placed on the corresponding animals, and then the right switches next to each letter the animals represent. the sackboy could push the animals into the sensor region. Once all animals are placed next to correct letter, the gate opens allowing progress. Basic Concepts: 1. Selector Switch for difficulty level 2. Randomizer for sounds, and sound emitters during explantion 3. Switches for each letter 4. Magnetic switches for puzzle with pictures and animals 5. Pictures that appear when letter is picked or being explained Picture Examples: Animals, Foods, Names, Common Toys, etc. Word challenge: Present pictures that represent words and words that represent pictures. Use Magnetic Switches to place blocks in correct slots to spell word that represents the picture. Use the AND and NOT functions to block other letters from accessing specific slot to make sure word is spelled correctly. THINGS I NEED HELP WITH. 1. Access to sound tracks or someone with a mic that can do recordings. 2. Someone with knowledge in all the logic stuff to be able to get the quizzes to work right, as well as the selecting the difficulty. As I am a beginner I still don't have those concepts fully grasped yet. 3. Someone who is willing to help me with adjusting the graphics to make it appealing to the youngsters.
