I don't know if there is a thread about this, I have searched this site and couldn't find it. In my tools bag, most of the items are mislabeled and in the wrong category. For instance, my bounce pad is put under vehicles and most of my simple logic and the thruster is labeled as cogs. There are too many others labeled wrong to list. My question is... is there a way to fix this? It is by no means a game breaker, but it is very inconvenient. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I read on here someone else had this problem, can't remember the thread name though. You could either: - Make your own categories. - Restart LBP2 profile. - Wait for a patch.

There may be something wrong with your game, or system. Try going to a label and press square, and choose labels. If that doesn't work, IDK.

Yeah I tried everything short of deleting my game's saved data. Don't think messed up categories is worth all that. I'll suffer through it and hope a patch in the future will fix it. If not I'll rename them. Is there a way to delete a category? Because I've tried to do this before, but I was left with the default category still there with nothing in it.

Did you try and put the tools in categories you made, but with the same name as a default category?

I had (have) this problem. Making my own categories helped me. Once you move EVERYTHING from a particular category, the old one should disappear from the bag. It will still be in the 'choose category' section though. When I asked about this a while back, someone told me that it may fix on it's own. You could also try chaning how your bag is organized (i.e. by category, newest, oldest). If none of these things work for you, I'm sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. :

Thanks for the idea. The changing of how the bag is organized didn't help, but I will try to remove things completely from the category and place them in a new, correct one and see.

Ok, after trying to reorganize my entire bag, I found that you guys helped out hugely. Cryogen, Ninja and Midnight, your ideas to create a new category worked when I redid EVERYTHING. My popit is now nice and organized. Thanks again. I just hope this fix lasts lol

If you've collected everything in the levels/tutorials/aced gifts, it should be fine. At least, that is until they release new DLC... But hopefully by then we'll have some sort of patch to fix it permanently. Otherwise, if you haven't collected everything yet, you may have to go back later and move newly collected things into their appropriate places. Also just thought I'd throw this out there...I noticed while browsing my stickers that I now have a 'stone' category with one lone apple in it. Clearly it belongs in 'foliage', but there is no way I'm moving all that over for one measly apple...
